The noisy scrub-bird was rediscovered here in 1961, and the reserve is still one of the few places you might hear one. Little Beach is a white sand cove with clear water and a short walk from the car park. There is a visitor centre, a cafe and walk trails, and a gravel road leads in from the highway.
