Paeroa has a giant fizzy drink bottle on the main road, a nod to the local mineral water that once flavoured the lemon soft drink Lemon & Paeroa. Pull over for a photo and a cold bottle at one of the shops in town. Paeroa is also a good stop for antique browsing.
