Ardbeg sits on the Kildalton coast east of Port Ellen and is known for its smoky malt. Tours and tastings run through the day, and the Old Kiln Café is a favourite lunch stop on the south road. It makes a good trio with Lagavulin and Laphroaig, which are a few minutes away.
