Bamford Edge sticks out above the village of Bamford in the Hope Valley. Several paths cross the top and, on a clear day, you can see almost the whole of the valley, with Ladybower Reservoir and the hills of the Dark Peak behind. It is a lot quieter than Stanage, which runs on the other side of the valley, and works as a quick sunset stop.
