The walk from Kilmarie follows a path along the Strathaird shore to a big sweep of bay under Blà Bheinn, with the Cuillin and the Sound of Soay beyond. It is about 6 km each way with some boggy sections, and you will pass very few people. Stay on the main path; the coastal route on towards Loch Coruisk is a scramble with an exposed section.
