Higger Tor is a gritstone tor on the edge of the Burbage Valley, just on the Sheffield side of the Derbyshire border. A short path from the road leads up through the boulders to a top that looks over the valley and across to the flat-topped Iron Age fort of Carl Wark. Hathersage is about two kilometres west if you want a longer loop.
