Two camping pods, the Mallard and the Pheasant, on a smallholding in Gatebeck just off the M6 at junction 36. Each has a raised platform bed, heating, lighting, a firepit and a full cooking kit, so you only need to bring food. Kendal is ten minutes away and Kirkby Lonsdale fifteen, which makes it a handy base between the Lakes and the Dales.
