The National Tramway Museum at Crich runs real trams from the 1860s onward along a route that leads through a rebuilt period street and up into the surrounding countryside. There is a pub, a cafe and a tram depot, and many of the trams are still operational. It is a very easy family stop and one of the few attractions where the ride is the whole point.
