Southwell Minster is the cathedral of the Southwell and Nottingham diocese, a Grade I listed church on the site of an earlier 10th century church. It is a quieter cathedral than Lincoln or Lichfield, and the Norman nave is the big draw. The town has independent shops and a famous Bramley apple connection.
