Talisker has made whisky at Carbost since 1830 and is the island's best-known name. Tours and tastings run through the day, and the setting on Loch Harport, with the Cuillin behind, is as good as any in Scotland. The Oyster Shed and Talisker Bay are both close, so it slots into a Minginish day.
