West Stow is an open-air museum built on the site of a small Anglo-Saxon village that existed from the mid-5th to early 7th century. Around 70 sunken-featured buildings were found here, and several have been rebuilt. It sits in a country park on the River Lark, just outside Bury St Edmunds.
