Camp 9 sits on the shore of Lake Isabella, a high-desert reservoir on the Kern River, and is open all year. It has over 100 single sites on a first-come basis and 11 group sites that you reserve. Shade is limited, but there is a seasonal boat ramp and dock in the day-use area.
