Hurricane Ridge
Port Angeles, Washington
A mountain-top road drive from sea level to alpine meadows and a wall of peaks.

The 17-mile road climbs from Port Angeles to a ridge with wide views over the Olympic range and across to Vancouver Island on clear days. The old visitor lodge burned in 2023, so expect a day-use area and views rather than a cafe. Short meadow paths start at the car park.
