Lava Point sits at about 7,900 ft on the Kolob Terrace, well away from the crowds of the main canyon. There are just six tent-only sites and a viewpoint a short walk away with a sweeping look across Zion's high country. It makes a handy cool escape on a hot Utah summer week.
