Lucille Hamons ran this station south of Hydro from 1941 until her death in 2000, serving travellers on Route 66 and helping those in trouble. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and looks as it did in its prime. It is a roadside stop rather than a staffed attraction, so expect to view from outside.
