Founded in 1804, Santa Inés sits on the edge of Solvang, a short drive from the pastry shops. It is an active parish run by Capuchin Franciscans, with a gift shop, docent tours, a mission garden and a rose garden. Most people in Solvang never make the five minutes out to it, which is the point.
