Designated dispersed camping areas lie along Warm Springs Road, a gravel road west of Ketchum in the Sawtooth National Forest. There is no fee, no water and no cell coverage past the first few miles, so bring everything and pack out your rubbish. Check the Forest Service for the season (roughly May to November) and stay limits, and for road conditions before you take a camper.
