Lake Waikaremoana Road

SH38 runs roughly 195 km from Waiotapu to Wairoa and crosses Te Urewera with about 74 km unsealed from Te Whaiti to Āniwaniwa. It reaches Lake Waikaremoana, a remote lake with a DOC visitor centre.
