Speedwell is one of the four show caves around Castleton and the only one you do by boat. You descend a long staircase to a flooded lead miners' tunnel, then are rowed along it to a cavern with a deep underground pool known as the Bottomless Pit. It sits at the foot of Winnats Pass, so it pairs with a drive or walk up the pass.
